We love to get out and about with our children. We all know they are going to go crazy if they are stuck inside when it’s raining for the ‘summer’. Although the forecast seems somewhat better than it has been of late, I still hold one magic trick up my sleeve just in case. When it comes to having an outing without really having to get wet, I like Parc! During the holidays we typically visit every available place that doesn’t cost anything to enter, we love, castles, picnics and parks and just going for walks along the beach. Then there are times when they need to get their energy out and really climb like monkeys. This is when we go to Parc, sand castles, swings, and warm pods when the cold weather comes. Depending on the age of your children Parents can kick back with a book and drink hot coffee while the children have fun.
One of my favourite things about Parc is that unlike many children’s play centres, I bring my own food. I don’t have to buy junk food because I can bring my own picnic and drinks. I feel happier knowing that we can go along and they will get thirsty and hungry and that it’s not going to cost me the earth to fill them up again. They still sell snacks like hot-dogs and ice cream so if you are just dropping by and not prepared with a cool bag you can still buy something for them to eat.
As you can see I took these photographs on a good day. However, the boys love it so much, we have visited Parc in the dead of winter, even when it snowed.I have to say it’s my boys favourite place to go for a treat. As you can see from the photographs all four of my boys love it. You can’t beat a bit of fresh air and a the chance to swing like a monkey!
