The Portraits
On the day of the photoshoot, we’ll capture a variety of close-ups, three-quarter-lengths in the studio, and full-length poses outside. We love getting soft smiles, giggles, and other more neutral or enigmatic expressions for your teenager in a variety of portraits. We can also include a picture of mum, dad, siblings, and grandparents with your teen during either the studio or on-location part.

Shyness or Challenges
I have three teenagers, so I am experienced with shy and introverted children, teens, and adults, as well as individuals like my youngest son, who is on the spectrum. It always helps to have someone who can understand and empathise! Let me know beforehand if you can think of anything you feel would be helpful that isn’t mentioned below. I’m pleased to do whatever is necessary to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.
To help your son or daughter to relax, we can do the following things:
- We can chat on the phone beforehand to get to know you all and start planning the session. That way, they won’t meet a stranger on the shoot day.
- I am a friendly, relaxed, and open person in a welcoming, small home studio environment. We take our time and relax before I even pick up my camera.
- We can play their favourite music on arrival and throughout the shoot.
- I like to learn about their interests and what sparks genuine smiles so they forget about the camera.
- I want to capture teenagers at their best and reassure you throughout the shoot of how great they look by showing them the images on my camera display.
Clothes
I often photograph teens initially in their everyday casual clothes that match the current season, especially if we begin the shoot outside. I can give you a link to my Pinterest page here for inspiration. Then, we can also glow up in the studio wearing whatever makes them feel stylish and fabulous. In the studio, It’s like a fashion photoshoot; teens love it, and it makes them feel fantastic.

Cost of a Teenager Photoshoot
First, fill out the enquiry form on the contact page to book. The form will ask for details of who the shoot is for, your preferred dates and times, and any specific requests or concerns you may have. Once I receive your form, I will reply with the available dates and further instructions.
I will confirm in an email the dates I can do for you with payment information. Once you pay, we save the date, and I will send further confirmation.
To book it costs £150. and you add on the cost of the digital collection starting from £99. The collection you choose determines the number of images I will edit in Photoshop, which you will receive after the shoot. I advise going for the most extensive digital collection. Collections are already discounted when pre-booked. After the session, extra digitals can be bought for £45 for one image and £100 for three.
