PAY IT FORWARD 2015

Each year I ask my clients and friends on facebook to nominate someone for my Pay It Forward session. This year’s submission came from my friend Lee who runs Floor De Lee in South Wales. Dewi and his family are so inspiring.

Dewi’s Story.
Dewi was born with Cerebral Paulsey and may also have some learning difficulties, despite all of these obstacles he is a charming, happy and sweet natured little boy that never stops trying to walk and run just like his big sister! His parents learned that there were options for Dewi in America, amazing opportunities for him to receive treatments and surgeries that would help him walk and ride a bike like any other little lad. The set about a relentless campaign to raise enough money to send him there. They work tirelessly on his behalf and have managed to successfully get one of his large operation completed and therapy to help him gain strength and walk. While his journey is not over Dewi has improved so much and is now able to ride a bike.

I met Dewi and his Mum, Dad and big sister at Miskin Manor.
Dewi was a little shy at first but it didn’t take him very long to chase me around the grounds even if he was on all fours. He has so much lovely energy and I can see that all he really wanted to do was run and catch me. Dewi was so fun and his big sister was wonderful with him, so patient and caring. In fact, his whole family are like that and I was so happy to get the chance to taking their photographs.
