What Is A Mini Photo Session?

A mini portrait session differs from a main or "Classic" session mainly because THERE IS NO SESSION FEE, and it is a themed, shorter session! You can get the chance to have a few gorgeous portraits at a lower price point!

A mini-session is a wonderful opportunity to update your portraits for a milestone or special themed shoot. This is ideal for getting a fantastic seasonal gift for family and friends.

 

How Long Is The Shoot?

The session is 20-35 minutes long, fun, and full of giggles with my funky little chicken friend. The time cannot exceed 35 minutes as we must prepare for the next client, so there will be no time for a second outfit change or background.

Note - If your little one is very reserved or is diagnosed with learning difficulties, it's better to book a more extended session so we have more time to get to know each other. We work with many little ones, but if a child is terrified or in tears, it is better to limit their distress as we don't want to put them off for future photographs. Festive Clothes

* Newborn from 6 days to 5 weeks. I supply hats, headbands, and blankets.

* 6 to 11-month-old sitters - A coloured, fitted romper that shows those chunky little arms and legs. (We have some outfits.)

* Children & Teens - Plaid dresses, chunky knits, and pyjamas look adorable.

LITTLE SITTERS 6-11 MONTHS

The Setting
Christmas - I have an adorable group of mini trees, and festively wrapped boxes for 6–11-month sitters to pose with sweet chunky blankets and rugs! As seen in the photographs, we will shoot on a solid, dark wooden background.

BABIES & NEWBORN

Small Babies

Babies that cannot sit unsupported can be photographed lying down on a red or green rug and upright with parental or sibling support. We add festive elements and glitter as well in post-production.

 

Newborn

Newborns will be wrapped up as above for a Christmas look. Options are a Santa hat or a simple coloured hat or headband. Props are the little bed or bowl or bucket as pictured.

CHILDREN & TEENAGERS

Glitter And Fun With Props

These are fun, cheeky, novelty images and the option of a gorgeous portrait. We have a gorgeous sledge or little chair for older children. I promise to remove all the spots from teenagers' faces, so they look adorable in their ugly Christmas sweaters. It's a classic! We can have two kiddos in the session.

Digital Files are like negatives that you can use to print your images up 20x16 inches (big) for your wall and on mugs and t-shirts or frame them for fantastic gifts.

Additional images can be bought as an extra at £40 per image. Products like wall art, frames, or prints are available to buy and can be added and ordered after you receive your files. Digital products are not exchangeable.

Terms & Conditions

Due to the limited number of time slots and back-to-back booking, mini-session fees are non-refundable. Our standard terms apply.

 

Cancellations

We don't want to catch a cold either! If you or your little one is unwell, we can reschedule for other dates during the promotion when you provide at least 24 hours advance notice. Your payment can be used towards rescheduling to a Classic session within a month of the original session date.
