What's a Mini Photo Session?

A mini portrait session differs from a main or "Classic" session mainly because THERE IS NO SESSION FEE, and it is a themed, shorter session! You can get the chance to have a few gorgeous portraits at a lower price point!

A mini-session is a wonderful opportunity to have a special-themed shoot. This is ideal for creating a fantastic seasonal gift for family and friends.

 

How Long is the Shoot?

The session is 20-35 minutes long. You must arrive 15 minutes before your slot to complete a form and for the baby to be wrapped.

Who Will Be in the Photo?
This mini-session is for newborns only, with no siblings, toddlers, or parents. For a more complete session, it is best to book a Classic session.

WHAT TO BRING

I Provide the Bunnies

This is a wrapped session for babies from 5 days to 5 weeks. You choose a colour from the list below for your portraits.

Bunny headbands for girls in - Blush, Seaglass, Ivy, Honey, and Amethyst.

Bunny Toys - Latte, Cream, Blue, Seaglass, Ivy, Blush, Amethyst, and Honey.

I supply hats, headbands, blanket wraps, props as seen in the images.

 

Bring Milk in a Bottle

Dress baby in a Babygro that is easy to remove. Babies can be fed swiftly with a bottle of either expressed or formula milk, but we don't have time to stop for full feeds; it is best to feed the baby before you arrive and have some milk in a bottle to top them up if needed. Breastfed babies sometimes sleep on the breast very lightly and will wake up easily because breastfeeding is hard work, so we need to fill them up fast for the baby's sake during the shoot.

The Sets / Props
We will use a little basket or bed, a small bunny for them to hold, and the baby chair for the session, as well as some images taken close up to highlight the baby's beautiful face.

Digital Files are like negatives that you can use to print your images up 20x16 inches (big) for your wall and on mugs and t-shirts or frame them for fantastic gifts.

Additional images with minis can be bought as an extra at £45 per image. Products like wall art, frames, or prints are available to buy and can be added and ordered after you receive your files. Digital products are not exchangeable.

To make the mini-session work, we require three newborns booked. We would photograph them one after the other on the day. If you have a friend or family member with a baby under 5 weeks, please share this page, and we could provide this mini after the Easter period with three bookings.

Illness & Rescheduling

My assistant and I must be non-contagious when we work with babies and pregnant women. If you or your family is unwell, we can reschedule for another date with at least 48 hours' advance notice. Also, your payment can be used to reschedule within a month of the original session date. For Mini Sessions, please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your session begins. Our standard terms apply.
