What's a Mini Photo Session?

A mini portrait session has no booking fee and is themed and shorter. You can get a few gorgeous portraits at a lower price point, which is ideal for creating a fantastic seasonal gift for family and friends.

Who Will Be in the Photo?
This wrapped mini-session is for babies from 5 days to 6 weeks or under 8.5 lbs.

 

How Long is the Shoot?

The session lasts 20 to 35 minutes. You must arrive 15 minutes before your slot to complete a form and have the baby professionally wrapped by Lorna.

The Sets / Props
The baby is posed in a basket or bed, on a fluffy blanket, and in the baby pram for the session. Some close-ups will highlight the baby's face and hands. The colours are seasonal. Choose one colour from Amethyst and Hunter Green, Blush Pink, Ivy Green, Honey, Seaglass, Teal or Creme.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring Milk in a Bottle

Dress the baby in an easy-to-remove Babygro. Babies can be fed quickly with a bottle of either expressed or formula milk, but we don't have time to stop for full breastfeeds. It is best to feed the baby before you arrive and have some milk in a bottle to top them up if needed. Breastfed babies sometimes sleep on the breast lightly and wake easily because breastfeeding is hard work, so we need to feed them quickly for the baby's sake during the shoot.

Digital Files are like negatives that you can use to print your images up to 20x16 inches (big) for your wall and on mugs and t-shirts, or frame them for fantastic gifts.

Additional images with minis can be purchased for £45 per image. Products such as wall art, frames, and prints are available for purchase and can be added or ordered after you receive your files. Digital products are not exchangeable.

Illness & Rescheduling

My assistant and I must be non-contagious when we work with babies and pregnant women. If you or your family is unwell, we can reschedule for another date with at least 48 hours' advance notice. Also, your payment can be used to reschedule within a month of the original session date. For Mini Sessions, please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your session begins. Our standard terms apply.
