Rescheduling

Sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice at no extra cost. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice will incur an additional charge of £65. Rescheduled dates must be within 30 days of the original for family sessions and seven days for newborn or sitter sessions. Cancellations and No-shows on session day forfeit the session retainer fee altogether.

Travel covers up to 25 miles from zip code CF10, £1 per mile exceeding that.
The client must cover costs related to the client's location choice, including parking and entrance fees. Parents are always responsible for their own and their children's safety.

In the unlikely event that PBL cannot perform due to fire, an act of God, illness, an accident or any cause beyond our control, your session retainer will be returned. This limitation on liability shall also apply if photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or media malfunction, lost in the mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on our part. If a refund is applicable, the original payment method will process it within 14 days of cancellation.

Digital Products
Payment for your chosen collection is required two days before the photo session. The photographer selects between 5-30 images to edit. Sometimes, additional images are available for purchase as an extra. No part of your edited gallery can be exchanged for other digital or printed products. Digital files are non-refundable or exchangeable. One week following your viewing appointment, unpurchased images are deleted. Purchased images will be held on file, allowing you to order more products in the future.

Printed Products

Allow at least 2 – 9 weeks for your orders to arrive from the time of payment. Additional time may be needed for large artworks such as canvases, albums, etc. Please inspect the images in your gallery very carefully. Once printed products are ordered, they may not be returned. Full payment is required before orders are placed. All sales are final and non-returnable because of the custom nature of each session.

Photography By Lorna currently accepts the following methods of payment: bank transfer, cash, and PayPal to lorna@photographybylorna.co.uk. Financial information relating to your payment transaction is not kept.

Copyright

Important ~ all images are the property of Photography By Lorna and are copyrighted by the law. Please note that your photos may be used on the Photography By Lorna photography webpage and any advertising or marketing material, including social media, as standard. There is an opt-out section in the model release form where you can specify the public use of the images.

If you change your mind, you can amend the consent form's model release section at any time after the initial consent. We will amend the form and remove any published images from our pages. However, we cannot guarantee that third parties will not save any photos previously published to this amendment.

I am obliged to explain the following: -
• After viewing my work on my website and Facebook, you have decided to invest in my services to photograph you and your family because you are confident I can deliver results you will cherish.
• There is no knowing what photos will be produced from this endeavour simply because this is an event in the future.
• As an artist, I reserve the right to interpret what I see artistically and how I photograph the scene. This may mean that some shots are in colour, and some are in black and white. This is my interpretation and my vision as an artist.
