What's a Mini Photo Session?

A mini portrait session differs from a main or "Classic" session mainly because there's no booking fee, and it is a themed, shorter session! You can get the chance to have a few gorgeous portraits at a lower price point!

A mini-session is a wonderful opportunity to have a special-themed shoot. This is ideal for creating a fantastic seasonal gift for family and friends.

Who Will Be in the Photo?
This wrapped mini-session is for babies from 5 days to 5 weeks or under 8.5 lbs. Book a Classic session for a more complete one if you add toddlers or parents.

 

How Long is the Shoot?

The session lasts 20 to 35 minutes. You must arrive 15 minutes before your slot to complete a form and have the baby professionally wrapped by Lorna.

The Sets / Props
Posed in a basket/bed, on a fluffy blanket, and in the baby pram for the session. Some close-ups will highlight the baby's face and hands. The colours are seasonal: Oranges and cinnamon, with neutrals like noir, latte, and ivory.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring Milk in a Bottle

Dress baby in a Babygro that is easy to remove. Babies can be fed swiftly with a bottle of either expressed or formula milk, but we don't have time to stop for full feeds; it is best to feed the baby before you arrive and have some milk in a bottle to top them up if needed. Breastfed babies sometimes sleep on the breast very lightly and will wake up easily because breastfeeding is hard work, so we need to fill them up fast for the baby's sake during the shoot.

Digital Files are like negatives that you can use to print your images up 20x16 inches (big) for your wall and on mugs and t-shirts or frame them for fantastic gifts.

Additional images with minis can be bought as an extra at £45 per image. Products like wall art, frames, or prints are available to buy and can be added and ordered after you receive your files. Digital products are not exchangeable.

You are welcome to call me on 07779 014 342 to ask questions. Please email or text me to confirm the suitability of any potential dates for your shoot. I will send you my bank details so you can pay via BACS. Once I have received the payment, I will send confirmation.

Due to the limited number of time slots, session fees are non-refundable. Our standard terms apply.

 

Illness & Rescheduling

My assistant and I must be non-contagious when we work with babies and pregnant women. If you or your family is unwell, we can reschedule for other dates when you provide at least 48 hours advance notice. Also, your payment can be used to reschedule a Classic session within a month of the original session date.
