NON-CAKE SMASH FIRST BIRTHDAY PHOTO SESSIONS
Let's celebrate the milestone of being a whole year old. I noticed very few alternative photoshoot options for parents who didn't want a cake smash! I created a healthier and less wasteful session that begins with cute, clean portraits where we capture gummy smiles, dimpled skin, crazy hair, eyes lashes and those rolls. Afterwards can end the shoot with a fun time eating fruit and capturing the facial expressions of little ones eating melons, lemons, limes, strawberries, raspberries, bananas and apples that are natural and fun to eat.
Make a record of this impressive milestone, and I promise you will cherish these adorable portraits of your little one. We can nod to the birthday with a cupcake, pancake or muffin and wear a birthday hat and a simple romper to show those solid legs and dimpled skin. Adorable!
WHERE TO GO & WHAT TIME
The photoshoots take place in my home studio, about 17 minutes west of Cardiff and easy to get to. Sessions are midweek, starting at 9.45 am until 2 pm. I encourage parents and siblings to be photographed with the baby.
WHEN TO BOOK
First-birthday babies are between 11 and 12 months old and happy to sit safely unaided. Booking ahead will ensure that I am available for you. Once we have spoken and decided upon a date for your session, please send me a non-refundable retainer to secure your appointment dates.

Include your due date and the ages of the siblings that are attending.
I'll offer you available dates to save for your photo session.
You will receive a brochure with detailed comparisons of digital products and pay your session booking fee via bacs.
Once You Are Booked
You receive confirmation of your dates and payment. A brochure with lots of information about what to expect, styling options, what to bring, and handy tips to help you have a relaxing session day.
One Week Before The Session, Pay For Your Chosen Digital Collection
The choice you make will determine your session length and style.
If you book last minute, it's best to choose asap and pay the session fee and the digital collection you want immediately. Should you cancel the session, digital collections are refundable.
Then we make some beautiful portraits.

Pay £150 For Your Session ASAP to Book and Save Your Dates.
We save two dates potential dates for each session, and once payment is received, these dates are unavailable for anyone else.
The session fee is a non-refundable payment to secure your booking dates and retain the service of the Photographer, their time for session planning and taking the pictures for however long the session lasts. It does not include any printed products or digital collections. The booking fee is separate and not included in the digital collection prices.

RETOUCHING
Retouching
I hand-edit each image to perfection. I am all about quality over quantity. I carefully select the best images, and over a few days, I retouch them in Photoshop to make everyone look well-rested and remove unwanted distractions.
I back up the files for safety and then create a video slideshow for your viewing appointment.
Viewing & Ordering
Twelve working days after your photo shoot, you will be invited to view your portraits and all product options at my home studio.
PRINTED PRODUCTS
Frames, Albums & Prints
When you purchase a digital collection, there is no obligation to buy any additional products. Most customers love the option of adding extra prints, wall art or digitals. When you see your portraits, you may order something for the wall or an album. My product menu is individually priced, allowing flexibility because everyone wants something different.
